The Phytoplankton Monitoring Program (PMP) is a key part of the MDBA's integrated physico-chemical and biological water quality monitoring of the River Murray, as defined within the National Water Quality Management Strategy. It allows us to meet obligations under the Murray Darling Basin Agreement and Murray Darling Basin Plan.
