Almost 300 people will converge in Albury next week to discuss the future of water management in the Murray–Darling Basin at the 2024 River Reflections Conference on June 19 and 20.
The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) remains steadfast in the commitment to transparency and engagement as preparations continue for the 2026 Basin Plan Review.

After a series of listening tours and meeting with more than 200 First Nations people in the northern Basin, the message is overwhelmingly clear: we need to work better and walk forward together, to achieve better outcomes for communities and rivers for generations.

Basin state governments and the Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) are celebrating 20 years of The Living Murray (TLM) program – one of the longest-running river restoration projects in Australia.
