Basin communities are continuing to contribute local knowledge and understanding through the MDBA’s regional community forums.

This year around 1,500 attendees have tuned into the Murray–Darling Basin Authority’s 8 webinars in the series. The webinars aim to share knowledge and build understanding of water management in the Murray–Darling Basin.

The Murray–Darling Basin Authority undertook a three year study (2009–2012) on the Barmah Choke to investigate the potential water supply and environmental risks.
