Knowledge flows through the MDBA webinar series

This year around 1,500 attendees have tuned into the Murray–Darling Basin Authority’s 8 webinars in the series. The webinars aim to share knowledge and build understanding of water management in the Murray–Darling Basin.

Published: 5 November 2021

The series, which started in March 2021, has focused on different aspects of water management and river operations across the Basin including water quality, capacity issues in the River Murray, Menindee Lakes, the Murray–Darling Basin Agreement, northern Basin activities and water for the environment.

Most recently, and ahead of a strong irrigation season, attendees heard from MDBA and Basin state government technical experts on water resource availability and the processes and factors that influence allocation decision making. If you missed it, the recording of this and all webinars from the series are available for viewing on the MDBA website. Catch up at a time that suits you and sign up to receive reminders for future sessions.

Join the MDBA for our next webinar on Water Infrastructure on 16 November. Learn how the infrastructure of the Murray–Darling Basin helps capture, store, and move water to where it needs to go, supporting efficient and effective river operations for the benefit of all water users. To learn more, tune into the live webinar at 10 am AEDT.
