On 20 June 2001, the Senate agreed to an Order requiring each Minister to table a letter advising that a list of contracts, in respect of each entity administered by that Minister, has been placed on the internet, with access to the list available through the entity’s website. The letter must be tabled no later than 2 calendar months after the last day of the financial and calendar year.

One of the primary objectives of the Murray–Darling Basin Plan is to ensure the water resources of the Basin are shared between all water users in a sustainable way; striking a balance and maintaining a healthy and productive system to sustainably support industries, the environment and communities.
The Murray–Darling Basin Authority 2024 Graduate Development Program is now open for future leaders. We encourage applications from all disciplines, with a focus this year on recent graduates in science, technology, engineering and mathematics as the MDBA drives world-leading water reform.
