The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) had its final meeting for the calendar year on 13 December 2024 on the lands of the Ngunnawal people in Canberra (ACT).

The Basin Officials Committee (BOC) met in person on Tuesday 19 November 2024 at St George, Queensland. This followed a field trip on Monday 18 November 2024 to the greater St. George area in the south-west region of Queensland. The trip was hosted by the Queensland Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers.
