Lake Victoria (Tar-Ru) is a naturally occurring shallow freshwater lake approximately 60 kilometres downstream of the Murray–Darling Junction in south–western New South Wales, close to the South Australian and Victorian borders.

On 20 June 2024, the Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) hosted an interactive workshop on the Basin Plan Review’s Early Insights Paper. The outcomes from this workshop are being used to inform our thinking as we continue our work on the 2026 Basin Plan Review.
