The Murray–Darling Basin Authority Enterprise Agreement came into effect on 3 April 2024.

From 27 February to 1 March, Authority Chair Sir Angus Houston, Chief Executive Andrew McConville, and Authority member Jane Doolan led the first MDBA tour of 2024, meeting with people in the northern Basin.
