The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) met on 12 December in person on Ngarrindjeri Country (Murray Bridge). The meeting was chaired by Sir Angus Houston and all members were in attendance.

The Chowilla Floodplain was inundated in late 2022 – monitoring shows the ecosystem is now thriving.
