The final event celebrating the 20-year anniversary of The Living Murray program was recently held at the Barmah–Millewa Forest, recognising the achievements of one the largest river restoration projects in Australia.
In May, the Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) joined Basin water officials in welcoming a delegation from the Indian Department for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD & GR).
The Albury-Wodonga region supports a wide range of agriculture, communities, recreation and tourism. This year it is the home of the MDBA’s annual regional water conference – River Reflections, and we want to see you there.

The Barmah-Millewa (B-M) Forest is a highly significant wetland on the Murray River, whose natural hydrology and consequently complex ecosystems have been significantly affected by the river’s now highly regulated flow regime.
