Member of the Authority, Ms Susan Madden, has recently accepted an appointment as an Assistant Commissioner of the New South Wales Natural Resources Commission (the NRC).
Given the functions, roles and responsibilities of the NRC under the Natural Resources Commission Act 2003 (NSW) and the Water Management Act 2000 (NSW), a Conflict Management Plan has been developed in consultation with the NRC and Ms Madden.
The development and publication of this Conflict Management Plan is consistent with the Murray–Darling Basin Authority’s commitment to rigorous and transparent identification, disclosure and management of conflicts.
