With the completion of my term as Chair, today I announce my retirement from the Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA), ending a fulfilling and rewarding chapter of my career.

The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) remains steadfast in the commitment to transparency and engagement as preparations continue for the 2026 Basin Plan Review.

Full implementation of the Basin Plan not possible by 2024 deadline.

The Murray–Darling Basin Authority is increasing the release of water from Dartmouth Dam to manage airspace in the dam.
