On Friday 20 January, releases will be increased from 300 megalitres per day (ML/day) to 2,400 ML/day.
Releases will start being reduced the next day, Saturday 21 January, and will return to 300 ML/day by Sunday 22 January.
This pulse in the Mitta Mitta River is to benefit the local environment.
The releases from Dartmouth Dam may vary from those forecast and flows on the Mitta Mitta may increase at any time if rain falls in the catchment downstream of the dam.
