AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be increased for the purposes of electricity generation.
The current discharge at Coleman’s Gauge of 200 megalitres per day (ML/d) or .91 metre gauge height will be gradually increased to 250 Ml/d or 0.96 metre gauge height, commencing 10:00 hrs on 26 September 2023.
This increase is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon rising to approximately 919 ML/d or 1.55 metre gauge height.
The duration of the increased releases for electricity generation is until approximately 10:00 hrs on Tuesday 3 October 2023 but will be dependent upon electricity demand in the near future. A further flow advice will be issued when there is a significant change to the release program.
