Landholders and river users, including pumpers, on the Mitta Mitta River are advised to take into account the forecast releases of water from Dartmouth Dam and make any necessary adjustment to their river activities.
The release from Dartmouth Dam will decrease starting at 8 am on Friday 22 November 2024, within rates of fall, gradually decrease over the next 8 days from the current flow of 8,000 megalitres per day (ML/day) to a target of 3,000 ML/day by around 29 November (measured at Colemans gauge).
Please note system conditions may change over the coming days. Another flow advice will be issued as release requirements change from those listed.

If you are observing bank erosion around key assets on your property, as a result of the river flows, please call the North-East Catchment Management Authority. They implement a riparian program in conjunction with the MDBA.
