Increase in release from Dartmouth Reservoir for the purposes of electricity generation – 27 July 2022

AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be increased for the purposes of Electricity Generation.

The current discharge at Coleman's Gauge of 500 ML/d or 1.19. M gauge height will be gradually decreased to 2000ML/d or 1.71 M gauge height, commencing at 14:30 hrs on 27/07/2022

This increase is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon rising to approximately 2730 ML/d or 2.13 M gauge height.

The duration of the increased releases for electricity generation is until approx. 20:00Hours, 29/07/2022 but will be dependent upon electricity demand in the immediate future. A further flow advice will be issued when there is a significant change to the release program.
