Published: 11 July 2022

AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be increased for the purposes of Electricity Generation.

The current discharge at Coleman’s Gauge of 1000 ML/d or 1.41 M gauge height will be gradually increased to 1500ML/d or 1.56 M gauge height, commencing at 09:00 hrs on 11/07/2022.

This increase is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon rising to approximately 2100 ML/d or 1.97 M gauge height.

The duration of the increased releases for electricity generation will be dependent upon electricity demand in the near future. A further flow advice will be issued when there is a significant change to the release program.
