The flow at Colemans gauge is being maintained at 1500 megalitres per day (ML/day), which is 1.56 metres local gauge height, until Wednesday 14 January when the flow will be gradually increased to 4800 ML/day (2.2m local gauge height).
We plan to reduce flows again to around 3000 ML/day for the period 23–27 January. From 28 January, flows will gradually be increased to 7000 ML/day (see graph below).

Throughout the remainder of January, if conditions remain dry, the flow in the Mitta Mitta River at Tallandoon is expected to be slightly greater than at Colemans gauge. However, if flows from Snowy Creek increase due to rain, the flow at Tallandoon could be much higher than at Colemans.
Water is being transferred from Dartmouth to Hume Reservoir to assist with meeting water demands downstream of Hume. If conditions remain dry, flows up to 7000 ML/day are likely to continue throughout summer and autumn.
On 8 January, the volume stored in Dartmouth Reservoir was 3185 GL (83 per cent capacity) compared with 1625 GL (54 per cent capacity) in Hume Reservoir.
