Published: 26 August 2021

AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be decreased for the purposes of Electricity Generation.

The current discharge at Coleman's Gauge of 1000 Ml/d or 1.41 M gauge height will be gradually decreased to 200 Ml/d or 0.90 M gauge height, commencing 10:00 hrs on 26/08/2021

This decrease is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon dropping to approximately 1288 Ml/d or 1.71 M gauge height.

The duration of the varied releases for electricity generation is unknown and will be dependent upon electricity demand in the near future. A further flow advice will be issued when there is a significant change to the release program.
