Decrease in release from Dartmouth Reservoir for the purposes of electricity generation – 20 June 2022

AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be decreased for the purposes of Electricity Generation.

The current discharge at Coleman's Gauge of 2500 Ml/d or 1.82M gauge height will be gradually decreased to 500Ml/d or 1.17 M gauge height, commencing at 16:00 hrs on 18/06/2022

This decrease is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon decreasing to approximately 1,4375Ml/d or 1.77M gauge height.

The duration of the decreasing releases for electricity generation is until approx. 18.30 Sunday 19/6/2022 but will be dependent upon electricity demand in the near future. A further flow advice will be issued when there is a significant change to the release program.
