Decrease in release from Dartmouth Reservoir for the purposes of electricity generation – 14 June 2022

Published: 14 June 2022

AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be decreased for the purposes of Electricity Generation.

The current discharge at Coleman’s Gauge of 1,500 ML/d or 1.57M gauge height will be gradually decreased to 500 ML/d or 1.16 M gauge height, commencing 09:30 hrs on 14/06/2022

This decrease is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon dropping to approximately 1,170 ML/d or 1.67M gauge height.

The duration of the varied releases for electricity generation will be dependent upon electricity demand in the near future. A further flow advice will be issued when there is a significant change to the release program.
