On Friday 13 September, we held our first-ever public webinar for the Basin Plan Review.
Over 100 people joined the conversation. Participants came from diverse groups, including governments, industry, and local community organisations.
The webinar was an opportunity for participants to:
- hear more about the key challenges outlined in our Early Insights Paper and how we are planning to address them
- learn about our proposed approach to reviewing the assessment of Sustainable Diversion Limits (SDLs)
- ask questions, raise issues and provide feedback.
General Manager of Basin Plan Review Strategy and Integration, Grace Mang, was pleased with the number of people who attended the webinar.
"This was our first webinar for the Basin Plan Review. We hope to do more as our work progresses," said Grace.
“We received more than 20 questions from participants during our live Q&A session which was fantastic.
“Their input and feedback are invaluable to inform our approach and the overall success of the Review.”
While we were able to answer some participants’ questions, it wasn’t possible to answer them all on the day. A full list of questions and answers has been compiled and is now available.
